Tybee Room |
| Tybee Room is named after the Barrier Island off the Georgia coast near Savannah. It has figured often in our lives, being the place which Dennis first came to when he emigrated from England many years ago, and the place where in a small island church, we were married. The room is located on the Southeast corner of the house, it receives both morning and afternoon sunshine, and enjoys a view of the wooded slopes of Wolfpen Mountain to the East and the Balsam Ridge to the South. It is boldly decorated in shades of Royal Blue and Gold. The room has a Queen sized four poster bed, it is a reproduction in mahogany of a Charleston rice bed. The mattress is topped with a luxurious feather bed and as shown, is covered during the winter months with a goose-down comforter. |

The Tybee Room is
air conditioned and has a private bathroom with tub & shower. It has
cable television, a DVD/CD player with CD's and DVD's available, . The
artwork in the room includes etchings by Florida artist David Hunter |

first experience at a B&B was fantastic! We're wondering if it will ever
be matched. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. Hope to see you again.
You've served us beautifully, we leave with cherished memories. We
thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you and plan to return! Your friendliness
and easy-going hospitality made us truly feel welcomed and comfortable.
The room was lovely, we were entertained by its decorative contents. Being
welcomed at the window and greeted at the door by Ben & Quinny really made us
feel at home. Thanks for a wonderful experience. It was a great way
to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We've
been coming to Waynesville for a number of years, but never had such wonderful
accommodations. We really felt at home and had such a relaxing long
weekend. Thanks so much for all your efforts. We enjoyed meeting
you, the dogs and the other guests. We'll be back for sure. What
a delightful time we've had in Waynesville and at Prospect Hill. You are
wonderful hosts - the room was very comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious
and the conversations most entertaining. We hope to find some Elk today!
and we hope to find ourselves a new home in this magic mountain setting.
Perhaps we'll be neighbors some day! It was a real pleasure to stay at
Prospect Hill.
