  May-Dec, 1st - Friday each month – the original "ART after DARK" & SATURDAY STROLL
Downtown Waynesville Galleries remain open until 9pm Demos, artist's receptions, music.

May 11 - Sat  The Whole Bloomin' Thing Spring Festival. 
This is Haywood County's premier spring festival, in historic "Frog Level" in Waynesville. kicking off the growing season with beautiful flowering baskets, vegetable and her starts, berry bushes, potted ornamental plants to jumpstart your garden, and a whole raft of mountain victuals

May 25 - Sat - another Rockin' BLOCK PARTY
Downtown is Alive at Night, Dancing in the street with live bands, 7pm; KIDS on MAIN, 6-7pm Eats & treats, restaurants open, a portion of Main Street closes.

Jun 2 - Fri - the original "ART after DARK"
Participating galleries & studios remain open until 9 pm on this evening with special artists showings, displays, and refreshments. Look for the WGA group flag representing the Waynesville Gallery Association.

06/07/2013 through 06/08/2013  Civil War Commemoration
Location: Shelton House Grounds & Barn (49 Shelton Street, Waynesville NC 28786)
Time: 9am - 4pm
Learn about history and participate in a Civil War Commemoration event to be held in conjunction with Waynesville's Appalachian Lifestyle celebration. See re-enactments, displays of Southern heritage & period clothing as well as displays of replicas of the South Cross of honor that will provide information on Civil War soldiers.

Friday 6/7: 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm - Jule Morrow, a noted Civil War Historian, will provide Lecture on History of Civil War in Haywood County.

Saturday 6/8: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm - Re-enactments (Union and Confederate Troops), drills (with participation from attendees), Memorabilia display, Civil War Era fashion show.

Saturday 6/8: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm - Music and dancing with Whitewater Bluegrass Band

Jun 8 - Sat - APPALACHIAN LIFESTYLE Celebration
Main St. Protecting, preserving & developing our historical & cultural resources through a heritage themed event. Educational & entertaining, 10am-5pm

Jun 28 - Fri - MOUNTAIN STREET DANCE
Downtown is Alive at Night. Put on your cloggin' & square dancin' shoes and enjoy an old-fashioned mountain hoe down! Live mountain music, demonstrations and instruction by local clogging teams. Refreshments, historic Courthouse lawn. 6:30-9pm

Jul 4 - Thu - STARS & STRIPES CELEBRATION
Main St. Shops & restaurants open, live music & entertainment, refreshments, fun for all ages throughout the downtown area. 11am-3pm

Main St. Dancers & musicians from around the world parade on Main Street after the opening ceremonies of FOLKMOOT USA at the historic courthouse, 1pm

Jul 20 - Sat - INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL DAY
Main Street, Haywood County Arts Council & FOLKMOOT USA join together to present a daylong extravaganza of music, dance, crafts & food from around the world. 10am–5pm

Jul 26 - Fri - MOUNTAIN STREET DANCE
